Isuca Season 2 Isuka Season 2

Isuca Season 2 Release Date

I honestly, don't know what it is that keeps me coming back to this anime. It's not really all that captivating or intriguing. I admit. However, it does have good character development in terms of relationships within the characters. It has its funny moments and lots of hidden details that I suppose make you want to watch more and more of it. It's your typical ecchi harem anime, but this time with spirits.

It is an action anime series by Akira Iwanaga, originated from Osamu Takahashi’s Isuka. The story revolves around Shinichirō, a male student who gets a job as a housekeeper in order to pay his rent. While on the job, he accidentally releases a strange creature into the world, and he learns that his female employer named Sakuya Shimizu is the head of the Shimizu clan that hunts these creatures. Shinichirō cooperates with her to hunt down the monsters that are running loose.

A lot of things stick me to this anime, it somehow reminds me of Inuyasha, my favorite anime back then. Who will not forget that? Plus, the plot is developing quite good for the few episodes.

The show is corny, it's a tad confusing, and it's a lot like Inuyasha (like I mentioned) but being more ecchi. Is that a bad thing? In my eyes not at all. This show has a pretty solid story if you can make it past the first few episodes, and deserves a chance. If you liked Inuyasha and don't mind a little harem or ecchi moments then you might want to give this a shot. This show doesn’t receive much compliments, though.

Isuca is a typical example of the genre of harem comedy. In the background – battles with the demons, the secrets of the clans and school – and this combination will never bore the audiences. And for that reason we dare to assume that Isuca will get renewed for a second season. Especially given the fact that screenwriter Masashi Suzuki has written many successful comedies and filmmaker Akira Iwanaga has a penchant for twisted and mystical storylines. Let us wait!
