Assassination Classroom Season 3 Release Date!

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu Season 3 Assassination Classroom Season 3

Assassination Classroom Season 3 Release Date!

Have you experienced playing some funny “Whack Your Teacher” games back then? In which you will have the chance to kill the teacher on the game by the way you want: stab, hit by a car, or even pressed by an airplane? Sounds cruel.. but interesting, right? The same appeal is what hooked otakus up into this well-known and unique Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūsei Matsui.

The series follows the daily lives of an extremely powerful octopus-like teacher and his students dedicated to the task of assassinating him to prevent Earth from being destroyed. He has already destroyed the moon, and has promised to destroy the Earth if he cannot be killed within a year. But how can this class of misfits kill a tentacled monster, capable of reaching Mach 20 speed, who may be the best teacher any of them have ever had?

That said, despite 11 episodes in, I have fallen in love with this anime. There is something intensely likable in its makeup, something that makes me leave every episode with a smile. That's right, this is a feel good anime. It's lighthearted, fun, and most importantly, interesting. This may be the reason why it became a triumphant one, even having a game adaptation and a live-action film.

The animation and art style lend themselves thriving to the story being told - it gives a very childish, cartoonish feeling, which fits really well to the story, and to the audience. The story is simple, if excellent. The hook, the students attempting to assassinate their teacher, allows for various interesting and organic situations. The back story of Koro-sensei allows for something of an element of intrigue - making the viewer want to come back for more, if only to find out what he is, how he came to be, and why he wants to destroy the planet.

I think the strongest part of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is how relatable the schoolchildren are. As a viewer, I could wholly understand their contradicting emotions. On their part, Koro-sensei, despite being a monster hell-bent on terminating the world, is the best teacher they have ever had (believe me or not, this touches my heart). He puts time and effort into his work, and actually cares about his students. Being members of class 3-E (a class for throw-away students - such as delinquents or those with low grades) and they are used to being cast aside. To have such a devoted teacher makes them conflicted as to the fact that their job is to kill him.

As a viewer, I relate to this attitude because, while I DO want the students' schemes to succeed (because they put effort into them, and as such I'm emotionally invested in it), I also want Koro-sensei to live because he's such a likable character.

The original manga and the anime TV series is ongoing, and if you look for its reviews, the readers and viewers don’t want it to end. After all the episodes, we will surely miss the students and koro-sensei’s adventure a lot. It will really make its fans happy if there would be a Ansatsu Kyoushitsu Season 3.
