Would you like to read a romance manga that focuses on male to male relationship? That was the question of my brother when he first introduced the manga of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi to me. At first, I was stunned simply because I don’t have any idea on how that sort of genre works. I never thought that I would get into the story and would fell right into the trap of the author. Of course, there would be tons of different approach from other otakus but Yaoi is something that everyone should look onto.
This was my first Yaoi manga and anime. I was so skeptical that I would enjoy the story. On every episode of the anime adaptation, I was always leaning backwards and ready to close my CD-DVD player if ever that I won’t like a single scene exposed. But no, I was dead wrong. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi changed my perspective as an anime-manga enthusiast.
The more I try to keep on believing, the more the chances that a third season gets slimmer. I feel bad and sad because of the fact that the second season made the road for a season 3 closed.
